- To apply the patches, press for 10 seconds on medium-high heat with a press cloth over the patch and fabric (to avoid damaging your patch or your base garment). Allow the patch to cool, then check the edges of the patch for lifting; if they lift, continue pressing in 10 second increments until fully adhered.
